Jae - Class of 2006

When Jae discovered GLCHS on the internet and joined the student body in January 2004, he had no idea he would become student council president in his grade 12 year.  Jae uses his leadership skills to help overseas students integrate in a Canadian setting.  He believes in involvement and says,

“Getting involved is a great way to meet new friends and adjust to a new environment.”

In addition to leading student council, Jae plays with the basketball team and the band.  As a band member, Jae has participated in the local Santa parade, the school musical and the Arts celebration concert. Two years after arriving, Jae says, “Our school is very friendly and kind to all new people.  You will fall in love with GLCHS.”
